Teleconsultation
AIM
Teleconsultation provides the support that a business needs in order to manage its occupational health risks. You have a remote, low-cost service that can provide advice leading to risk based management decisions on matters associated with occupational health.
WHY INTRODUCE IT?
Not all workplaces can accommodate or afford the provision of on-site occupational health services, and even where this is only a part time service you may still require additional support through teleconsultation. IOH can provide teleconsultation for your business as the foundation for your occupational health requirements.
WHAT IS IT?
In the first instance teleconsultation provides a qualified Occupational Health Nurse (OHN) or Occupational Physiotherapist on the end of the telephone or via email. This service can offer advice on the management of your occupational health issues. When an Occupational Physician is required, the OHN can triage the call and refer it to a doctor who will be a Member of the Faculty of Occupational Health (MFOM) and accredited specialist in occupational medicine. We will provide you with timely and effective advice from our Head Office site, so that you can make appropriate decisions on the management of your workforce and any occupational health requirements that you may have.
