WHY INTRODUCE IT?

Proactive promotion of good health and wellbeing reduces sickness absence in the same way that planned preventative maintenance of machinery prevents or reduces breakdown.  You can promote and provide the tools to a healthy lifestyle, promote good mental health in the workplace and reduce issues associated with low worker productivity and absence levels.

WHAT IS IT?

Wellbeing is the promotion of medically based areas of wellbeing such as exercise and nutrition, smoking cessation, drug and alcohol awareness, mental health issues etc and the promotion of the managers role in wellbeing, supporting policies and procedures in the workplace and various other elements that are interlinked.
